There are several schools in Dubai Investments Park (DIP), or planned for DIP. There were reports of a new IB school opening in September 2008 (possibly a Beacon Education or GEMS school) but no further information seen yet. In a June 2006 press release, the CEO of Dubai Investments PJSC, which is the owner of DIP, said they had signed agreements with 5 international schools, in addition to Al Nibras School, to set up in DIP. This is a list of schools in, or possibly planned for, Dubai Investment Park 1. All are (or will be, according to information seen) located in close proximity to The Green Community.
- Al Jeel Al Saeed School - marked on DTCM Dubai Map
- Al Nibras Private School - renamed as Al Nibras International School, open September 2007
- Greenfield Community School - operated by Beacon Education, open September 2007.
- GEMS Education School - the DTCM map shows a plot next to the Green Community marked "GEMS Education School", further information not available yet. This could be related to the reports of an IB school expecting to open by September 2008. There are several other GEMS schools in Dubai.
- International Center for Montessori School - marked on DTCM Map
- Saeed Al Tayer School - marked on DTCM Dubai Map
General Comments - might not apply to Dubai Investment Park Schools
- Many popular schools are full for 2009-2010. New schools in Dubai may have places.
- Allow extra for books, extra-curricular activities, uniforms, trips, etc if not included in school fees.
