- DIA announced in a press release that they had been accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). They were also re-authorised by the IB for all three IB programs running in the school.

- Dubai International Academy operators, Innoventure Education, and Emaar Education have announced a partnership where Innoventures will take over the management of Emaar schools from September 2010. The DIA website says to email feedback about the news to diafeedback@diadubai.com.
