- Dubai English Speaking School fees (from DESS website) and salary range (estimated) updated for 2008-2009 academic year. Previous figures AED 24,300 per year and AED 11,000-16,000 per month.
- Cost of books and most extra-curricular activities are included in school fees.

- Dubai English Speaking School is commonly regarded by many students, parents, and teachers as one of the best schools in Dubai for a western/British expat education.
- Staff and students are mostly British.
- DESS recently opened up a secondary school (DESC) which will eventually have students up to Grade 12.
