- DAE University closed? The National reported on 10 September 2008 that DAE University had closed. Latest press release from DAE Capital (22 September 2008) has replaced DAE University with DAE Flight Academy in the list of DAE subsidiaries.
- The Ministry of Higher Education list of accredited institutions does not include DAEU when checked.
- DAEU website has homepage and a link to www.daeflightacademy.com for DAE Flight Academy, and no further information. Some DAE pages still available in search engine caches.
- Tel +971-4-4038621 has a message referring callers to new telephone number +971-4-4038888.
- Website www.daeuniversity.ac.ae redirects to www.daeuniversity.com/portal/

- DAEU received MoHESR accreditation for four of its programs, which are due to start September 2008. They are
- MBA in Aerospace Management
- MSc in Global Logistics
- MSc in Operations & Airline Management
- MSc in Air Transport Management

- Full name is Dubai Aerospace Enterprise University, or DAE University.
- DAEU has received accreditation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for two of its programs - the Bachelor degrees in Flight & Aviation Management, and Aviation Business Administration. DAEU is applying for accreditation for 8 other degree courses.

DAE University is one of six DAE business sectors - DAE Airports, DAE Capital, DAE Engineering, DAE Manufacturing, DAE Services, and DAE University. DAEU Offers vocational, undergraduate, graduate, and MBA progams related to the aerospace industry including:
- Pilot training program - 14 month ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) - at the DA Flight Academy.
- BSc in Flight and Aviation Management
- BSc in Business Administration / Master of Business Administration (MBA) - combined 5 year program (DAUniversity qualification).
- MSc degree in Aerospace Vehicle Design
- MSc degree in Airport Planning & Management
- MSc degree in Air Transport Management
- MSc degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management
Courses expected to be validated by Cranfield University in London. CEO appointed Jul 2006, Dr Ebbs (63) retired in 2005 as President of the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) in Florida. DAE University will eventually be located at Dubai World Central airport in Jebel Ali. Scholarships available. DAEU also referred to as Dubai Aerospace University, Dubai Aerospace Enterprise University, or Dubai Aerospace Enterprises University.
