An organisation picks on a real school name, advertises jobs, and when you apply, they offer you a position and request money for "visa expenses." No employer or recruitment agent in the UAE should ask you to pay for recruitment or visa costs. Such requests are an immediate red flag. Check any job offer like that carefully and independently before accepting, sending money, or any personal details.

  • Unknown what Dibba Science Institute (DIS?) is - listed on the UAE Ministry of Education (MOE) website as a school (with the name "Dabba Science Institute"). No other information found.
  • Add comments or information to forum topic.
  • DIS has the same PO Box as another school, the Yanabbe Al Marifa Private School, but different phone numbers.
  • Also called Dibba Scientific Institute (or Diba but rarely).
  • Dibba is geographically north of Fujairah on the East Coast of the UAE, but politically part of Fujairah, Sharjah, or Oman depending on where you are. Unknown whether DIS comes under the Sharjah or Fujairah educational authority. Presumably not Oman since it's listed by the UAE MOE.
