- A new DPS Society School is opening in Dubai in April 2013 - see Union International Indian School (UIIS).
16 September 2009
- Delhi Private School (DPS Sharjah) will be closed from 16 September 2009 until after Eid (22 September 2009?) as a precaution against the H1N1 swine flu virus (Khaleej Times report 16 September 2009). Days will be made up on Saturdays later in the year.

- According to DPS Sharjah website, tuition fees are still the same (AED 6,360-8,280 per year) as they were for 2006-2007.

- Delhi Private School (DPS Sharjah / DPSS) also known as Delhi Public School Sharjah.
- Bus transport (website says air-conditioned) add 1350-2700 dhs depending on location.
- DPS Society apparently non-profit but not certain if DPSS school is non-profit.
- Seems to have a good reputation amongst the Indian community.
- Also called 'Delhi Private School LLC (not Dehli) - part of the DPS Society school international network - www.dpsfamily.org - (there is also a Delhi Private School in Dubai).
