- Course fees are now AED 360,000 ($97,500) according to the DAE Flight Academy FAQs. Previous information was AED 480,000-550,000.
- Length of course is about 12-14 months.
- Accommodation costs have doubled to AED 44,000 (US$12,000) per year for furnished shared accommodation (separate bedroom). Transportation to flight academy included. Different locations for male and female students.

- DAE Flight Academy (DAEFA) is the Dubai Aerospace University (now closed) flight school.
- DAE Flight Academy offers a 12 month pilot training course that leads to a GCAA frozen Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), JAA compliant.
- DAEU signed a 10 year contract in October 2007 to operate the DAEFA at RAK International Airport.
- DAEFA expects to train up to 400 pilots per year and have up to 50 instructors.
- First courses began March 2008. DAEFA will/may have monthly student intakes.
- Fees (US$130,000-$150,000) include course materials and uniforms but not accommodation / living expenses. Shared accommodation can be arranged for AED 22,000 per year (US$6,000).

- Fees, facilities, education quality varies widely. Allow extra fees for visa, transport, accommodation.
- Salaries, accommodation, other benefits for lecturer jobs vary substantially. Check contracts carefully for medical, housing, flight allowances, etc.
