- School name is Crescent English High School (CEHS) but might be referred to as Crescent English School, Crescent High School, Crescent English Private School, or Crescent School. However, the Ministry of Education website has it listed as Al Helal English Private School with the same tel number but a different fax number +971-4-2854108 (or 042854108) which is not the Crescent School fax number (also seen in other sources). School might also be called Al Hilal School (Hilal is Arabic for crescent or crescent moon).
- CEHS not found in list of licensed schools on KHDA website.
- CEHS is not the same as the Crescent International Private School in Abu Dhabi.
- The tel number +971-4-2858216 seen in some sources is for Tony Salloum Painting Company, not for the Crescent High School, and tel +971-4-2894666 also seen, is for Al Ghandi Auto, not for the Crescent School.
- The fax number +971-4-2854108 seen in some sources is not for the Crescent School.
- Another email is crschool@emirates.net.ae.
- Academic Year is April to March, divided into 3 terms. School timings are 0800-1100 for KG1 & KG2, and 0800-1330 for grades 1-10.

General Comments - might not apply to Crescent School Dubai
- Many popular schools are full for 2009-2010. New schools in Dubai may have places.
- Allow extra for books, extra-curricular activities, uniforms, trips, etc if not included in school fees.
- Estimate monthly teaching salary by dividing annual school fees by 3, or 2 for primary schools. Deduct 25% for profit-making schools.
