- International School of Choueifat Sharjah (ISC-SHJ) is searching for a new head? Job seen advertised on TES website dated January 2011 (Position available for: Senior School Administrator. ... After a period of in-service training the successful candidate may be offered a position as Head Teacher or Senior Administrator). Closing date for applications not supplied, salary scale not supplied. Benefits package includes furnished accommodation, paid utilities, annual flight tickets, health insurance, and end of service gratuity.

- The International School of Choueifat - Sharjah (ISC Sharjah, ISC-SHJ or ISCSHJ) is, like all schools in the SABIS system, intensive and academically rigorous with exams given weekly to students in the primary school and more often in the secondary or high school.
- Teachers are supposed to follow a common (amongst all SABIS schools worldwide) lesson plan structure and timetable.
- Not everyone's cup of tea but students are usually academically well prepared for further studies.
