- All Choueifat schools are quite intensive and academically rigorous - even elementary school students have regular exams. Teachers are expected to adhere to the SABIS lesson plan timetable and structure. The SABIS system is not everyone's cup of tea but students are usually academically well prepared for further studies.
- RAK Choueifat is smaller than the other Chouiefat schools in the UAE and that seems to result in a somewhat less rigorous environment which may appeal to some students/parents/teachers. School has around 200 students. Sometimes called ISC-RAK or ISCRAK (one of the more unlucky acronyms in the SABIS network).

- Many popular schools are full for 2009-2010. New schools in Ras Al Khaimah may have places.
- Allow extra for books, extra-curricular activities, uniforms, trips, etc if not included in school fees.
