- Cambridge International School Dubai might be relocating and/or increasing fees?
- The Gulf News reported on 30 March 2010 that He [Sunny Varkey] added that two more of their schools — Our Own English High School (Oud Mehta) and Cambridge International School (Al Garhoud) — are facing similar issues with its landlord, and will be forced to relocate with higher fees. The report was prompted by the KHDA not allowing schools in Dubai to increase their fees.
18 September 2007
- Mixed reports seen, some very complimentary, others very negative. You could probably say you get fair value for the money spent compared to other much more expensive schools in Dubai.
- Awarded Cambridge International Fellowship Centre (CIFC) status by the University of Cambridge International Examinations for good results in exams. A prestigious certificate to hang in the vestibule. It actually has some use, entitling a student to win a £3,000 (22,500 dhs) scholarship spread over 3 years - a bit more than what it costs to send your child to CIS for a year.
- Fees information updated to AED 13,456-18,270. Not included are registration fees (700 dhs), activity fees (350-950 dhs per year), computer fees (300-600 dhs per year), or transport fees (approx 200 dhs per month).
- Several URLs all take you to the same website: www.gemscis-dubai.com, www.gemscis-garhoud.com, www.tchs-dxb.sch.ae, www.cambridgeinternationalschooldubai.com.

General Comments - might not apply to Cambridge International School Dubai
- Many popular schools are full for 2013-2014. New schools in Dubai might have places.
- Allow extra for books, extra-curricular activities, uniforms, trips, etc if not included in school fees.
