  • The cleverly named Business & Technology Education Centre (BTEC) has no official connection to the UK Business and Technology Education Council (BTEC) which awards tertiary level vocational qualifications (or did), however, BTEC Dubai does offer Higher National Diploma and Certificate (HND & HNC) courses leading to the UK BTEC awards.
  • The BTEC Dubai fine print points out that they do not award their own qualifications; all courses studied at BTEC Dubai lead to awards from various external tertiary organisations not based in Dubai.
  • BTEC Dubai UAE have affiliations with the following qualification awarding bodies:
    • British Computer Society (BCS)
    • City & Guilds
    • Scottish Qualifications Authority
    • Shobhit University
    • UAE Ministry of Education
    • University of Portsmouth (UK)
    • University of Wales
    • University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE)
