- Boston University Institute for Dental Research and Education in Dubai accredited by the Commission of Academic Accreditation (CAA), a division of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR), reported by the Khaleej Times 09 June 2008.

- Full name is Boston University Institute for Dental Research and Education Dubai. Get your teeth around that one (so to speak).
- The associated dental clinic is called the Boston University Dental Health Center Dubai.
- BUIDRED (or whatever acronym sounds suitable) is a post-graduate dental
education institute offering programs in dental research, education and specialized
dental care, based on programs offered at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine in the USA. Programs will include
Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) and Master of Science (MSD)
in the following specialties (pending approval from the UAE Minstry of
Higher Education and Scientific Research):
