- Head of Primary School is Jane Guiver (was at Corinda State High School in Queensland, Australia?)
- Head of Middle School is Mark Ionn (was at Eagleby South State School in Queensland, Australia?)
- Grade 10 to open in 2009-2010, grade 11 to open in 2010-2011, grade 12 to open in 2011-2012
- Fees for grade 10 in 2009-2010 are given as AED 45,000 per year on AIS Sharjah website, Fees for other grades 2009-2010 same as 2008-2009.

- The Australian International School in Sharjah opened with K-6 students, extended to grade 7 in September 2006, grade 8 in September 2007, and eventually will be K-12.
- Queensland P-12 curriculum used.
- Facilities include large, indoor multipurpose activity rooms, art and music teaching areas, networked computer laboratory, library, parent waiting areas with free internet access, 25m indoor swimming pool, multipurpose hall and gymnasium stadium. More expansion in 2007 planned.
- Staffed with western qualified teachers.
- PO Box, fees not obvious on website.
- Fees AED 18,000-30,000 for academic year 2007/2008, inclusive of loan books, exclude transport (add AED 1166 per term for 2007), uniforms and stationery.
