- Renamed as American University of the Emirates (AUE), and has Ministrty of Higher Education licence, but only for Associate programs so far.
- Same websites at www.ace.ac.ae and www.aue.ae but nothing found at www.ace.ae.
- Emails ard@aue.ae, hr@aue.ae also listed on contact page, unknown if hr@ace.ac.ae (previous email) still valid. Tel contact +971-4-3604445 also listed, unknown if old number still valid (+971-4-2693833).
- Tuition fees are 2,400-5,000 dhs per course. Not obvious on website how many courses / credits needed to complete a degree.

General Comments - might not apply to American University of the Emirates
- Fees, facilities, education quality varies widely. Allow extra fees for visa, transport, accommodation.
- Salaries, accommodation, other benefits for lecturers vary substantially. Check contracts carefully for medical, housing, flight allowances, etc.
