- Al Mizhar American Academy for Girls has been awarded accreditation by The New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and the Council of International Schools (CIS) (press release 05 April 2011).
19 May 2010
- The American Academy for Girls, Al Mizhar was one of two Taaleem schools reported in UAE newspapers as being given permission by the KHDA to increase fees by up to 20% for 2010-2011. In March 2010, the KHDA announced a freeze on school fees in Dubai.
02 June 2009
- An American Academy for Girls in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK AAG) is opening in September 2009. Apart from the name, there appears to be no connection with the Dubai AAG.

- Fees remain the same for 2008-2009 academic year? KHDA information is that AAG asked for 40% increase but was ineligible as they had already increased fees by 16% for 2007-2008.
