Also referred to as Al Shurooq School, Al Shoorque School, Al Shorook School, Al Shorouk School, Al Shorooq Private School, Al Shurouq Private School (ASPS), etc. Listed as "Al Shorooq Private School" with the Ministry of Education (MOE). There is also an "Al Shouroq / Al Shurook Nursery School" with the same contact details. Might also be known as the Sunrise School - Shorouq means sunrise or dawn in English. There is a Sunrise School in Abu Dhabi but unrelated to ASPS in Dubai. Email sunrise@eim.ae should also be good. Domain name www.alshorouq.ae parked but no website when checked, and nothing at www.alshorouq.sch.ae. Fees information from KHDA website, also has email address as alshorooqschool@hotmail.com, second tel number +971-4-3442026, principal's name as Fadwa Amin Hattab.

- A Khaleej Times report 12 September 2005 highlighted Al Shurooq Private School as one in which the principal, Fadwa Amin Khattab, was also a licence partner, which is not allowed according to the report.
