- Al Sahel Private School is one of 6 villa schools that have been ordered to shut down by the end of the academic year (30 June 2010?) due to poor safety and building conditions, according to instructions from the Abu Dhabi Municipality.
- Principal's name is Lamiaa Al Madfaji according to 20 April 2010 report in the Khaleej Times, but ADEZ information says principal is Safa'a Al-Shathili.
- School name also written as Al Saheel Pvt Sch? Also seen as The Coast School or The Coast Private School.
- Probably not related to the Al Sahel Private School in Kalba, Sharjah.
- Classes from KG1 to Grade 5.
