Al Saad Indian School / Al Sad Indian Private School (ASIS?) is/was a villa school. Villa schools in the UAE have been threatened with closure by the Ministry of Education (MOE) unless they moved into proper premises. In May 2007, the Khaleej Times reported that Al Sad School was ordered to close down at the end of the 2007-2008 academic year. Unknown what's happened to Al Saad School but contact details are still listed in the 2008 UAE Yellow Pages. Listed as Al Saad Indian Private School by the MOE. There was an unfortunate accident reported in September 2004 - a 5 year kindergarten student of Al Saad School died after being run over by the bus she had just alighted from. No website or further information about ASIS found.
