Al Yasmina School is the new Raha Gardens school developed by Aldar Acadamies, and opening in September 2008. The Al Raha Gardens website FAQ says there will be "Kindergarten and two schools offering (IB) high school education." Note that that seems to be incorrect since only one school offers IB. If there are other schools in the Al Raha Gardens development not listed here, or you know about the kindergarten, please reply to the discussion topic. Contact details for Aldar Properties, the developer of Al Raha Gardens, are email info@aldar.com and tel +971-2-6964444. So far the following schools exist, or are planned:
- Garden Island Academy - unknown if this is a planned school or not, may have been renamed as the Yasmina School
- Pearl Primary School - not in Al Raha Gardens but run by Aldar Academies
- Raha International School - K-12 school opened September 2006, run by Beacon Education (now Madaares or Taaleem), offers IB
- Yasmina School - eventually K-12 school opening September 2008 in Al Raha Gardens, run by Aldar Academies, offers UK National Curriculum

Contact details removed, information received from Beacon Education was that this is not one of their schools or proposed schools. Unknown if this is a planned school or not, or an incorrect name for a different school being established by Aldar Academies. Not the same as Raha International School. There might be another school scheduled to open in Al Raha Gardens in September 2008 (possibly called Garden Island Academy) to be run by Aldar Academies. Maybe the two schools are one and the same. No further details found so far. Please add information to the forum topic if you know more.
