- Al Ittihad Private School (AIPS) caters more for Arabic students (mostly UAE nationals) wanting an English education, rather than Western expatriates.
- The Arabia for Educational Development organisation took over the school in 1996.
- New campus was added in 2002.
- School location is near Mamzar Beach Park.
- Primary and girls sections are very good but boys secondary school has a reputation for being unproductive and a difficult place to teach.
- Domain name www.ittihadschool.ae returns DNS error but www.ittihadschools.com ok (August 2006). Try also www.aipadmin.ae.
- CITA accreditation awarded March 2003.
- Sometimes called "Al Ittihad School Dubai" or "Al Itihad Private School". Primary section also called "Al Ittihad Primary School".
