- Abu Dhabi Polytechnic awarded a license from the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
- Abu Dhabi Polytechnic is affiliated to the Institute of Applied Technology, and will start operations in September 2011.
- Initially, two degree programs will be offered in Nuclear Science and Semiconductor Technology.
- Graduates will be qualified to work in semiconductor industries and nuclear power plants in Abu Dhabi.
