Ruth Dantzer was appointed to head the new Abu Dhabi Civil Service College. Ms Dantzer was previously at the School of Public Service in Canada.

- An agreement was signed between the Abu Dhabi Department of Civil Service and the Singapore Civil Service College to establish a Public Service Training Institute in Abu Dhabi, or a Civil Service College of Abu Dhabi, according to a press release 16 March 2008.
