- Khaleej Times reported that two Philippine villa schools in Abu Dhabi, PISCO Private School and Philippine National School (PNS) have been instructed to downsize by ADEC, and students are encouraged to register at the 21st Century School.

- The 21st Century Private Academy or Private School in Abu Dhabi is apparently the new name for the new Abu Dhabi Philippine School (see that page for information prior to September 2010) according to a Khaleej Times report.
- The new school's opening date has been delayed to Sunday 19 September 2010.
